Welcome to our project! We are the SPF Biology class of 24/25. On January 14th, 2025, we began our class project to improve the existing formicarium. This is already our second major project of the school year, our first was the investigation of insects in general.

Over the past months, both as a class and individually in little groups of two to three, we have spent time learning more about ants, studying their behavior, and working on improving and reinventing the formicarium. Each student had two main tasks:

1. Contributing to their "big" group, which was either the formicarium, organisation or the social group

2. Exploring a personal research question about ants
